Where’s the Benefit – What’s In It For Me?
Someone asked me what do people get out of following what you post on your site. What is the benefit of taking the time to read what you write and even using the tools or commenting on what you put out there. I had to think about that one. What I determined was that while this site is not about me, I share what I can share about what I have gained from the tools used here over the years after going through trying experiences in my life. Experiences like heart break, rejection, self doubt and I would even go as far as to say trauma. I also know that they have worked for other people through them telling me and scientific research (positive psychology).
To answer the question this site can help you to feel better about yourself. It can help to increase your confidence, motivate you, inspire you and help you to feel more alive. Using the techniques suggested can help you to be less stressed, less judgmental of yourself and others and less afraid to take risks. It can increase your vision for yourself and give you the energy to fulfill that vision. I know this because these are some of the things that it has done for me. How has it helped you?

December 20, 2013 at 1:23 pmYour comments are very encouraging. They remind me that life is short, we’re here for only a little while. With that in mind, I’m reminded to be less concerned about what others think and to do what is right and helpful to those I come in contact with on a daily basis. In that way, I’m blessed and less stressed.

May 25, 2014 at 10:58 pmYou have helped a great deal and I just started reading your blog. It has given me something to think about other than spending time concentrating on any crappy stuff that may be going on in my life. Some of your comments assist me in knowing that I am not alone. Thank you.
